Questions before the start?
Do I need an account to use Otro Dorsal?
No. You can explore the catalogue, filter and see race pages without signing up. With an account (email, Google or Apple) you save your races, registrations, results and personal bests, have them on any phone, and can use the pace calculator and the result image generator.
Can I register for a race from the app?
Otro Dorsal doesn't handle registrations or payments: it takes you to each race's official website.
Which races will I find?
Popular races all over Spain: road, trail, hikes, cross-country, track, backyard, canicross and Nordic walking. The catalogue is updated daily from several sources and every race is reviewed before it's published.
How does the Strava connection work?
Link your account from Profile → Third-party integrations. When you log a race result, pick your activity from that day and the form fills itself in. You can disconnect it whenever you want.
What do you do with my location and my data?
Your approximate location is only used on your phone to show you nearby races: we don't store it. Only your friends see your races, if you choose to share them, and you can delete your account and all your data from Profile.
Which phones is it available on?
iPhone and Android. On both you also get widgets with the countdown to your next race and your personal bests.
What can my friends see?
To connect, you need an account and the other person has to accept you. Your friends see your username, your name and your avatar or photo. If you choose to share them, they also see the upcoming races you sign up for and your personal bests. They never see your favorites or results, and you can change this at any time in Profile → Privacy.
